The musical group RED, a four-member musical act of children ages 10-12, will perform at Westchester Burger on Sunday, Feb. 26. Their show starts at 5 p.m. and the restaurant will donate a portion of the proceeds to a charity chosen by the group.

The group consists of Stamford residents Devon Cavaliere, Rohan Sarma and Jessie Kalt and Ella Boyle of Monroe.

Cavaliere and Boyle, both 12, started the group about three years ago. Rohan joined the group two years ago and Jessie joined last year.

They meet once a week to practice with their teachers from Crescendo Productions, and each member meets privately with other teachers weekly on their own. The band has played two years in a row at the St. Leo’s Fair in Stamford, at a book fair at Barnes and Noble in Stamford and in Old Greenwich before the community’s Memorial Day Parade and for Halloween. They have also played in Westport, other venues in Greenwich and Stamford, and most recently at Judy’s Bar and Kitchen in Stamford.

Cavaliere is the group’s drummer. She is a member of Kids Helping Kids and a student ambassador at Greenwich Catholic Middle School. Boyle, the group’s lead singer, is a member of Kids Helping Kids and is the Class President of her grade at Monroe Middle School. Sarma, 12, plays guitar, attends Turn of River Middle School and participates in the Odyssey of the Mind with the Stamford Youth Foundation. Kalt, 10, plays bass. He attends Northeast Elementary School.

The group plays a wide range of music, including selections from Fleetwood Mac, Led Zeppelin, James Brown, Rolling Stones, Taylor Swift and Rihanna.

In their event at Westchester Burger, the restaurant will donate 20 percent of proceeds from the night of the event to Stamford Education for Autism, SE4A. The group raises funds to support students with autism in the Stamford Public School System.
